I want to feel the neon lights

Buzzing underneath my skin.

Reflections

Of red lights in your eyes

Burn straight through my mind.

The way you touch me with

God’s fingertips

With a love

That leaves fingerprints

On my soul

Like a bruise that hurts so good.

I want a dark room

Pulsing with strobes.

I need to feel the music

In my bones.

The bass in my chest

Synced with heart beats,

Like cathedral bells

That ring me back to life.

Until the blood

Coursing through my veins

Mistakes itself for

The electricity of the night.

hi angels! it’s been so long since i’ve posted writing on here. i have definitely been in a rut, and it becomes difficult when I try to force myself. however, i felt no pressure on this one and just had to write around something that popped into my head, i hope you like it <3 i hope i feel inspired to continue more writing moving forward :) i love you all!
